Buea Association USA is proud to announce the successful completion of its CPR Trainer Program at the Biaka University Institute of Buea. A total of 22 healthcare professionals — including nurses, physicians, and healthcare administrators — were trained and certified as CPR trainers.

These newly certified trainers are now equipped to extend lifesaving CPR education to the broader community, significantly strengthening local emergency response capacity. To support both the training and ongoing community sessions, Buea Association USA provided all CPR training mannequins and essential instructional supplies.

This initiative reflects the Association’s continued commitment to advancing healthcare education and improving lifesaving readiness across Buea and neighboring communities.

Buea Association USA proudly participated in Cameroon’s National Youth Forum, an event convened by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education that brought together more than 5,000 young leaders from across the country to discuss youth empowerment and emerging opportunities.

The Forum assembled representatives from six government ministries, United Nations agencies, and several youth-focused organizations. Buea Association USA was honored to be among the participating NGOs, recognized for its contributions to healthcare initiatives and environmental sustainability efforts in Cameroon.

Through its engagement at the Forum, Buea Association USA continues to position itself on the national stage as a strong voice and advocate for sustainable development in Buea the city of legendary hospitality.

The Buea Council, in partnership with the Buea Association USA, successfully carried out a special citywide “Keep Buea Clean” exercise, bringing together volunteers, schools, community groups, and key stakeholders to promote environmental hygiene and civic responsibility across the municipality.

Participants actively cleaned public spaces, streets, and institutional environments in a coordinated effort to strengthen sanitation and reinforce a culture of environmental stewardship.

Council leadership and the President of the Buea Association USA reaffirmed their shared commitment to preserving Buea’s identity as the City of Legendary Hospitality through continued collaboration and sustained sanitation efforts.

Buea Association USA proudly partnered with the Biaka University Institute of Buea in observance of World Cancer Day, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing healthcare access and community wellbeing in Buea the City of Legendary Hospitality.

The collaborative initiative featured a Cancer Awareness Walk, an Educational Health Conference, and free cancer screenings focused on early detection and prevention. As part of the program, Phase II of the Buea Association CPR Training Initiative was launched, providing approximately 300 community members with hands-on training in basic, lifesaving CPR skills.

Building on the success of prior healthcare collaborations including CPR training-of-trainers and broader community health outreach this initiative reflects the Association’s continued investment in empowering residents with practical knowledge, critical skills, and improved access to essential health services.
